How to create your first e-book with Sqribble?

Once you get to the Sqribble interface, you can start creating by clicking on “projects”. Software and features are easy to understand.

How to Choose your e-book template
You have more than 200 templates to choose from. Don’t worry, you have a wide range, and you can import your images and edit them if the standard design doesn’t fit to you. You can view the template before selecting. You can choose from these niches:

How does it work?
1. Name Your Project
In the first step of the project, you will choose name, then select the editor. You have 2 options:
1. Legacy editor (old version of the editor).
2. Freehand editor 2.0 (the new version).
Make your choice and then click on “next” to go to the next step.
2. Select Project Type
In this step you will choose how you would like to create your first e-book. You have five options available:
1. Grab from URL: you enter a URL address and Sqribble will create an e-book from the content. Therefore, it will recover the text, links, and images. It will also put the icons of social shares.
2. Create Your e-book: You write your e-book from scratch on Sqribble.
3. Copy/paste content manually: you import your text by copy and paste.
4. Upload Word / Text File: you import your text from your computer as a text file (.txt) or as a Word file.
5. Start from Article Collection: you choose a text among those available (in English only) then you create your e-book.
For the last option, the texts are relatively short (around 400-700 words), but you can use more than one to create your book.
3. Complete setup and start editing
When you have selected your project type, click “next”, Sqribble will create a professional-looking e-book automatically.
To quickly create an e-book, choose the “Start from Article Collection” option, select one or more articles that you translate using Deepl. Then go back to select the copy/paste. You have thousands of items available. Small tip, this can be a good source for a niche sites, or blogs as well.
Exporting the e-book to Sqribble
When you have finished your creation, it is time to export your E-book. Sqribble offers two compression methods for your PDF file. No matter which one you choose, you will then have the choice of formatting your e-book. Thus, you can choose a standard format, or a format intended for publication on Amazon Kindle, MOBI or EPUB.
